ABBEY PAIGE MAKEUP BOOKING TERMS &  CONDITIONS

Upon booking with Abbey Paige Makeup and paying the deposit, you understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions for the services provided by Abbey Paige Makeup.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required to secure all bookings

FOR IN STUDIO APPOINTMENTS

  • Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of booking through the online booking system.

  • Payment of Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is to be paid on the day of the appointment, either by cash, bank transfer or EFTPOS.

  • Deduction of Deposit: The deposit will be deducted from the outstanding balance on the day of the appointment.

 STUDIO CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All deposits are non-refundable. 

  • Please adhere to booking times. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes past the agreed booking time will forfeit their appointment and deposit. 50% of the remaining service amount will be charged to the client.

  • No-shows: Failure to attend your appointment will result in forfeiture of your booking and deposit. 50% of the remaining service amount will be charged to the client.

  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: Abbey Paige Makeup will retain the deposit. 50% of the remaining service amount will be charged to the client unless discussed otherwise prior. 

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: Abbey Paige Makeup will retain the deposit. If rescheduling is necessary a client may transfer their deposit to a new date only once

  • In the rare event that Abbey Paige Makeup must cancel your appointment for any reason without notice, a full refund of the deposit paid will be provided.

  • Last-minute bookings made within 24 hours of the appointment must be made directly through contacting Abbey Paige Makeup, and not through the online booking system.

TIMING

  • Please arrive with a clean face, free of any makeup and skincare products, to save time.

  • Adherence to Booking Times: Clients must adhere to booking times. Arriving more than 15 minutes past the agreed booking time will result in forfeiture of your appointment and deposit. Abbey Paige Makeup is not held liable for any financial losses. She often operates on a back-to-back schedule and requires punctual arrival.

  • Lateness Notification: If you anticipate being late, please inform Abbey Paige Makeup via text, Instagram DM or email. She may accommodate lateness if there are no pending bookings immediately following your scheduled appointment, although decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

  • Early Arrival: Clients are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes early to allow for parking or unexpected measures such as traffic. Clients booked in The Emporium are welcome to sit inside the venues waiting area, however clients booked at Abbey Paige Makeup’s home studio must wait in car/out front until exact booking time due to it being a personal home with no waiting area (unless she says prior that she is ready early for you to come inside).

FOR WEDDING AND GROUP BOOKINGS

  • Date Enquiries and Bridal Trials: Date Enquiries or bridal trials do not secure your wedding day. Enquiries for your wedding day and group makeup services can be made by filling out the Bridal Information Form. Abbey Paige Makeup will let you know after a bridal form is submitted if your day is available to be booked, then you’ll receive a personalised quote tailored to you. 

  • Bridal trials are subject to the general Studio Cancellation Policy.

  • Securing Your Date: Due to high demand, your wedding date is only secured after the 20% non-refundable deposit is received for the enquired date. This will be deducted from the total price of the booking, with the remaining payment to be made in cash on the day (preferable), or via bank transfer. Receipt of this deposit guarantees Abbey Paige Makeup’s availability on the agreed date and time.

  • Payment of Deposit: Whilst the deposit is not paid, your date is not booked. Upon receiving your quote, you’ll have 72 hours to pay the deposit to secure the date before it is released and becomes available for other bookings. If any other booking requests come through for the same date, the first in bride will have priority up until 72 hours of no response passes, or bride decides to not proceed with booking.

  • Should you choose to wait to pay your deposit for any reason and the date becomes unavailable, Abbey Paige Makeup is not held liable for any financial losses.

BRIDAL CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All bridal deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Cancellation Policy for Wedding & Group Bookings: Abbey Paige Makeup understands circumstances may change, should you need to cancel or reschedule your booking for any reason, you must give minimum 1 month notice via email. On the off chance you need to reschedule, Abbey Paige Makeup will make every effort to accommodate you, but the availability cannot be guaranteed due to the high demand and will result in your deposit forfeited. 

  • Retention of Deposit: Abbey Paige Makeup will retain the deposit regardless of the notice given, due to administrative costs and potential loss of other bookings by reserving your appointment.

  • Cancellation within One Month of Wedding Date: If cancellation occurs within one month of the wedding date, 50% of the total remaining balance is to be paid and will have their deposit forfeited unless otherwise stated. This is at the discretion of Abbey Paige Makeup, and the client agrees to these terms after paying their deposit.

  • Confirmation of Details: All booking details must be confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Changes to Bridal Party Size: Abbey Paige Makeup has a minimum 3 person booking cost policy. By paying the deposit, any changes to the size of the bridal party may incur additional charges. Additional services may be added (subject to availability), but any reduction in number of faces will need to fulfil the minimum 3 person booking cost. This policy is in place to cover administrative costs and potential loss of other bookings by reserving your appointment.

  • Changes to the location, start time or number of applications will be agreed upon in writing at least 1 month before the event subject to Abbey Paige Makeup’s availability, and may be subject to additional charges. These must be paid before/on the day of the service. If any unanticipated fees are incurred on the day directly related to the booking, the client will be responsible for these expenses (such as parking etc).

REFUNDS

  • Refund Policy for Completed Services: Abbey Paige Makeup does not offer refunds for completed services. Any makeup application done is at the client’s discretion; If you are dissatisfied, it is the client's responsibility to notify her while on location, so changes can be made.

  • Inspiration Images: Abbey Paige Makeup is not held liable if a clients inspiration image is not replicated exactly. This is due to differences in features, and images often being edited or made with AI and are not achievable on a real client.

  • Abbey Paige Makeup is not held liable for any dissatisfaction if the client changes the desired look once they’ve left the premise and after the service has ended.

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: The deposit is strictly non-refundable, and for studio bookings, may only be transferred once if agreed upon new date and reason.

  • Trial Appointments and Completed Work: Completed trial appointments or any work already carried out will not be refunded.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Client Responsibility: The clients are responsible for informing Abbey Paige Makeup of any known allergies, health conditions, sicknesses/infections, skin conditions, medical and/or sensitivity issues that they may have/or may be affected by using the makeup artist’s tools or products. This is to guarantee that any reactions are prevented. If the client is unsure, a consultation is highly recommended.

  • Liability: It is the client's responsibility to inform Abbey Paige Makeup about any sensitivities, illnesses or allergies prior to your appointment. Abbey Paige Makeup cannot be held liable for any reactions that, in the unlikely event, may occur.

  • Client-Supplied Products: Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, then she would be happy to use the product. Abbey Paige Makeup cannot make guarantees surrounding the quality of the product(s) you supply for her to use.

  • Right To Refuse Service: Abbey Paige Makeup reserves the right to refuse service if clients appear unwell or if she deems the service unsafe, unhygienic, or risky for herself or other clients. In such cases, the service will not proceed, and the deposit will not be refunded. No partial makeovers will be performed, and clients presenting with the above or similar conditions will be turned away.

  • Hygiene Standards: All of Abbey Paige Makeup’s products, tools, and brushes are cleaned and sanitised after each client for hygiene purposes.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Full Makeup Service: Full makeup includes applications to the face area and décolletage as standard, with optional lashes.

  • Additional Requests: clients wanting glitters, gemstones, bold/unusual pigments, graphic eyeliner or other special mediums must be booked through the “Extended Makeup Appointment” option. 

  • If the incorrect appointment time is booked, Abbey Paige Makeup reserves the right to charge the client for the larger appointment slot, or refuse the service if she is booked back to back and will not be able to fulfil the request in the allocated time.

  • Special or Tattoo Coverage: Clients should notify Abbey Paige Makeup in advance if special or tattoo coverage is needed. This allows for discussion regarding time requirements and products needed.

MEDICAL

  • Illness, Injury, or Personal Emergency: In the event of illness, injury, or a personal emergency, Abbey Paige Makeup will endeavour to find a replacement Makeup Artist.

  • Refund Policy: If a replacement Makeup Artist cannot be secured, a full refund of the deposit paid for the affected date only will be provided.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE

  • Abbey Paige Makeup owns the right to any content captured during the appointment, with consent from the clients taken at the time. Clients are encouraged to take photos of their makeup to share with friends and on social media platforms. However, she ask that you give credit to Abbey Paige Makeup where possible.

  • Abbey Paige Makeup has permission to post clients photos for marketing purposes on her website, social media accounts and further, unless specifically disclosed by the client

AMENDMENTS

  • For extenuating circumstances, please email Abbey Paige Makeup directly and accommodations may be considered where appropriate. Any exceptions or amendments to these terms must be agreed upon in writing and are subject to approval from Abbey Paige Makeup. 

  • Abbey Paige Makeup has the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time, and any changes will only apply to future bookings.
